Electronic anaesthesia

End the Dentist’s terror with electronic anesthesia  Quick Sleeper!

In the Children’s Dental Clinic & Adolescents Happy Tooth we use  the innovative Quick Sleeper electronic anaesthesia method (by Dental High Tec Inc , made in France) noting significant advantages over the classical method of local anaesthesia.  Our little friends can now enjoy their visit to our practice, free from the stress and fear of the needle!

What is electronic anaesthesia

Electronic anaesthesia is an innovation in the field of local anaesthesia, which has been tested and used for several years in University Hospitals around the world. The Quick Sleeper is a modern  device, which allows painless, local anaesthesia of up to 8 teeth at the same time without any discomfort and without the repulsive image of the injection.

How does electronic anaesthesia work?

Thanks to innovative technology, electronic anaesthesia allows the dentist to use the method of osteocentric anaesthesia safely, without any doubt of application and with complete success.

What does this mean?

Osteocentric anaesthesia is the method in which the anaesthetic material is introduced into the centre of the spongy bone. This allows multiple teeth to be anaesthetised, depending on the amount of material injected in a single application without the stinging sensation as was previously the case.

Advantages of electronic tooth anesthesia

Osteocentric anesthesia seems to be the most effective technique for dental work.

The advantages of the method include:

  • Painless anaesthesia without the sensation of puncture
  • Use of a device – anaesthesia pen and not a syringe
  • Effective implementation and comfort in working with the patient
  • Simultaneous application in many areas depending on the amount of infusion
  • Avoidance of numbness in the tongue and lips, which “follows” patients 2-3 hours after their visit to the dentist

The most suitable method for children

Electronic anaesthesia is the most appropriate method that can be used in children during their visit to the Pediatric dentist. A smaller needle (30G – 9mm) is used, which is not visible, as  is seen as the “pen” of the device. This way, children are not confronted with the sight of the needle or syringe that has been proven to stress them and follow them through many moments of their lives. At the same time, the small diameter of the needle, combined with the low injection rate, which is electronically controlled  , make the method absolutely painless without the feeling of numbness that plagues most children and causes additional problems after leaving the pediatric dentist’s office.

This innovative method  is a milestone of the new era in the relationship between child and dentist. With the help of electronic anesthesia, a visit to the pediatric dentist is finally a pleasant experience!
