Dr. Lila Papadopoulou
Dr. Lila Papadopoulou is the Head Pediatric Dentist and owner of Happy Tooth Dental Clinic.
She was born and raised in Volos.
She graduated from the Dental School of Athens in 2005 with Honors.
She worked at Forsyth Dental Institute of Harvard Dental School, Boston MA, USA from 2005 to 2007 where she earned her Master’s of Science in Oral Microbiology.
The results of her research are published in esteemed dental journals (such as the Journal of Oral Microbiology and Journal of Pediatric Dentistry) and were presented at conferences such as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and International Academy of Dental Research (where she won the third prize for her poster announcement).
She completed her Residency (Specialty) in Pediatric Dentistry at Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, MA, USA. She was the only non-American resident among 20 dentists.
During her residency at Boston University, she worked with autistic and special needs patients, along with multiple pediatric specialties.
She completed more than 120 cases under general anaesthesia in the operating room, something she continues in her everyday dental practice.
She created Happy Tooth Pediatric Dental Clinic in 2011, in pursuit of providing top-quality dental services to children, adolescents and young adults.
Dr Lila’s belief is to always give back to the community and support vulnerable social groups. Hence she is a pediatric dentist for Doctors of the World (Medicins Du Monde) and SOS Children Villages and an active member of many groups visiting special needs patients’ schools.
Dr. Marilena Kotsanti
Dr. Marilena Kotsanti was born and raised in Preveza, Epirus.
She graduated from the Dental School of Athens in 2015 with Honors.
She completed a one-year program in Pediatric Psychiatry at the Medical School of Athens.
She completed her 3-year Residency (specialty) and Master’s Degree in Pediatric Dentistry at the Dental School of Athens.
The results of her Master’s research were presented at multiple conferences.
She is a member of the International, European and Greek Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Angelos Theristopoulos
Dr. Angelos Theristopoulos was born and raised in Pyrgos, Peloponnese.
He graduated from Athens Dental School in 2016 with Honors.
He worked in a pediatric dental Clinic in Kifisia for 2 years as a private dentist.
He completed his 3-year Residency (Specialty) and his Master’s in Pediatric Dentistry at the Dental School of Athens.
During his Master’s Degree (Prevalence of cavities in children from weak socio-economic backgrounds) he came in contact with children from sensitive social groups and that made him volunteer in NGOs providing health care to these children.
He is a member of the International, European and Greek Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Melina Moraiti
Dr. Melina Moraiti is the orthodontist at Happy Tooth Dental Clinic.
Dr. Moraiti graduated from the Dental School of Athens.
She completed her Residency and Master’s degree in Orthodontics at the European University of Madrid, Spain (Universidad Europea de Madrid) from 2015-2019.
Dr. Moraiti is a certified orthodontist for the invisible method of orthodontic treatment with clear aligners Invisalign (US) as long as the European method, Clear Aligners (Germany).
She is also a certified orthodontist for treatment with lingual brackets (Incognito).
She is an active member of Doctors of the World (Medicins Du Mond), Actionaid and she worked with the NGO Symplefsis seeing patients in Remote Greek Islands.
